Microsoft surface tablet
Microsoft has finally announced their Windows 8 tablets, named Microsoft Surface. They’ve unveiled two models “Surface tablet for Windows RT” and “Surface tablet for Windows 8 Pro” today which contain 10.6” HD screen, built-in kickstand and an optional detachable magnetic keyboard with trackpad.
Microsoft’s Surface PC for Windows RT is powered by an ARM chipset while Surface tablet for Windows 8 Pro is powered by Intel’s 22nm Ivy Bridge chips. Both the Microsoft tablets come with optional touch and type covers which sense keystrokes.

Microsoft Surface Tablets Availability and Price
The Windows RT version of Microsoft Tablet will be made available along with the launch of Windows 8, this October whereas the Windows 8 tablet is expected to be launched after 3 months from then.
Coming to the pricing, Windows RT surface tablet is expected to be priced around $500 to $750 whereas Windows 8 surface tablet is to be priced over $1000.
